To care for the above-named ECMCR cat by providing proper food,
water, and shelter.
To provide medical treatment for the above-named ECMCR cat as
necessary and as recommended by my vet to ensure the health, safety,
and well-being of my new cat.
To contact ECMCR immediately should I no longer be able to care
for the above-named ECMCR cat. ECMCR is responsible for an ECMCR
cat for the duration of the cat's life, and all cats adopted from
ECMCR must be returned to the care of ECMCR should an adopter
no longer be able to care for the ECMCR cat.
I agree that I will NOT take the above-named ECMCR cat to an
animal shelter or animal control facility or other animal rescue
or transfer ownership of the adopted ECMCR cat in any way, shape
or form without contacting ECMCR in advance.
To care for the above-named ECMCR cat as a family pet.
I understand and agree to return the above-named ECMCR cat to
ECMCR at any period in time, for the duration of the above-named
cat's life, should I no longer be able to care for the above-named
cat, and that a refund of the ECMCR Adoption Donation will only
be given if the return of the above-named cat is within 28 days
or less of the date the cat entered the adopter home.
I understand and agree that IF I am adopting an ECMCR kitten
under the age of 6 months OR any ECMCR cat or kitten that is not
spayed or neutered, I agree that I will provide ECMCR with a prepaid
Spay/Neuter Agreement, confirming that I will be spaying/neutering

I understand and agree to keep the above-named ECMCR cat indoors
at all times, and, if I do take the above-named ECMCR cat outdoors,
I confirm that the cat will be on a leash and supervised by me
at all times. Under no circumstances will I allow this cat outdoors
unsupervised.
I agree to never declaw the above-named ECMCR cat. Declawing
is inhumane and will not only cause serious pain and suffering
to the cat, but it will also cause long-term health problems.
I will provide necessary food, water, a bed, litter box, cat
litter, a scratching post, and vetting care for the above-named
ECMCR cat.
I understand that expenses are involved when adopting a new family
pet, and I agree to and am able, willing, prepared and capable
of providing the above-named necessities to maintain the well-being
of the above-named ECMCR cat.
I further understand and agree that:
- ECMCR has not misled me about the adoption of the above-named
ECMCR cat.
- ECMCR has been honest with me regarding the medical care that
the above-named ECMCR cat has received to date. Should any health
issues arise going forward, I will not hold ECMCR responsible
for the same.
- ECMCR accepts no responsibility for any liability arising from
any injury or damages to any person or property caused by the
above-named ECMCR cat.
- ECMCR members have the right to contact me at any time regarding
the care and ongoing well-being of the above-named ECMCR cat.
All of the information that I have provided on my application
and throughout the application process is true and I have not
misled ECMCR with respect to any of the information provided.
If I do not fulfill the terms of the ECMCR adoption agreement,
ECMCR has the right to reclaim the above-named ECMCR cat.
